Momentum Youth Leadership Conference
April 9 – 10, 2010—Evangel Pentecostal Church, Gander, NLDear Youth Pastor/Leader,
WE WELCOME YOUR YOUTH MINISTRY TO JOIN US FOR MOMENTUM 2010
Momentum defined is - a capacity for progressive development, forward movement. I am sure you will agree this is a very fitting name for our bi-annual youth leadership event previously called Firehouse. The success or failure of any Youth Ministry relies heavily on the type of Youth Leaders you are training to help you run your ministry. Our desire is to help you train students to grow and move forward.
Momentum is a youth leadership-training event. The event exists to aid you in training your teams to understand their roles as leaders in your local Youth Ministry. This time together will not only allow us to help you but it will also give you a chance to connect with your teams in a setting geared towards them.
Our theme this year is "Momentum - Back to Our Future". We will be pinpointing 5 core values: Theology, Evangelism, Discipleship, the Local Church, and the Greater Church. On the weekend of April 9-10, students will gather at Evangel Pentecostal Church in Gander for 2 days filled with life changing moments and amazing memories. We anticipate that God will challenge you and your team as we look at these 5 core values.
Enclosed in this package you will find information to help you promote and plan for this event. Please keep March 19th in mind as YOU plan: March 19th is the deadline for regular registration and also the deadline to book hotel rooms at the Albatross. Check out the Momentum Facebook page to stay in touch with information about the event and network with others who will be attending.
See you there!
