Mission Complete: YC Malawi!

The teams are back, the mission is complete and the numbers are in!  Our YC Malawi teams experienced nothing short of “Book of Acts” type ministry and results.  2100 individuals made recorded decisions for Christ at YC.  3200 made decisions during our team ministry which gives us a total of 5300 people that accepted Christ since the start of this mission.  That's FIVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED individuals who are now in the Kingdom! All glory to Him!

Other note worthies include:

• Estimates are around 15000 in attendance at the peak of YC.
• Anointed ministry by Papa San, Leeland, Sam Farina, Roosevelt Hunter and our own Canadian Worship Team led by Pastor Mike Freake.
• A very significant and moving grand opening of the YC House at the Village of Hope with all our teams in attendance.
• Testimonies of healings are numerous.
• People were saved in their homes surrounding the stadium as YC occurred.
• Drug addicted were delivered.
• Prostitutes were cleansed.
• People of other faiths renounced their own religion and acknowledged Jesus as Lord.
• An entire fire brigade that "mistakenly" set up their fire engine on the field for the weekend came to Christ including the fire chief.
• A village chief accepted Christ.

This was an historic moment for this nation.  Churches, cell groups, follow-up programs and new ministries are springing up as a result of what God has done. An excellent follow-up system has begun with data collected on every decision made and contact being made through calls, email, radio and connecting to local churches.  What can be said? Leeland captured it well in their song entitles “Yes You have”: "This is ALL for you...You're the King of the world"

All praise and glory goes to the Lord! "Great things He has taught us, great things He has done!"

Thanks to the youth and young adults who for 2 years have given at YC to support this dream. Many thanks to all who gave, prayed and supported our teams and the YC outreach.   Thanks to the pastors, church boards, and missions committee who helped make this possible.  Thanks to all our team members who sacrificed much and ministered so effectively in the 7th poorest nation on the planet.
