FAMILY MINISTRIES AND FAITH PENTECOSTAL PRESENT “FOCUS ON MARRIAGE”

We are all too familiar with the struggles and breakdown in marriages even within our congregations. While many in our society seem content to live outside of the marriage vows, we know that God designed marriage as a social structure for all of humanity – not just Christians. It is His plan that marriage would become the stable foundation of society, that one man and one woman would commit to a lifelong, monogamous union, enriched by their love and respect for each other and would raise their children in that environment. When we neglect God’s plan we invite trouble.
I am pleased, on behalf of the Family Ministries Team, to endorse the efforts of Pastor Jeff Payne and his congregation at Conception Bay South in bringing this Focus on Marriageevent to this province. We all have a role to play in supporting and providing opportunities for marriage enrichment. This Simulcast is one of those opportunities. Please encourage the couples in your congregation to attend.
